Kentucky Basketball Historic Articles

Below are reprints of various magazine articles about Kentucky basketball through the years. The purpose of this page is to give Kentucky and general college basketball fans convenient access to the original historical articles which help shed light on the greatest collegiate basketball program in the history of the sport as it evolved through the years.

Most of the articles revolve around Kentucky head coach Adolph Rupp, as he towered over the program and in many ways, molded it into his own image. Some of the articles have only a passing relevancy to UK, although they do help illustrate the times and important issues of the day.
