The following is an outline of the nationally award-winning University of Kentucky men's basketball media guide. It is meant to assist those with the guide in finding and comparing information between the Media Guide and this website. There is much information listed in the media guide which is not available on this web site. Likewise, there is much information on this web site not available in the Media Guide (or anywhere else for that matter.) Items in Italics indicates pages on the website which are similar in nature but not exactly the same as what is provided in the Media Guide. Some of the below information will eventually make it to this website, while other information probably never will. For those interested, a partial list of discrepancies (currently out of date) between this site and the media guide is also available.
This web site is in no way affiliated with the University of Kentucky or its Sports Information Department. Although extremely important, the UK Media Guide is but one of many references used for this site. For those interested in the UK program and its history, UK has put their current (2024-25) media guide online, so it is possible to view the media guide electronically. Media guides from recent years are available online in the UK Men's Basketball history section. Older media guides are also available on the ExploreUK website. Another source for hard copy current and used media guides is ebay or other sellers.
