Paul Noel is missing from the list of UK players in the NBA (This is UK Basketball: Cats in the NBA Draft), although some of his NBA experience is noted in the Then & Now section (This is UK Basketball: Success - Academic and Athletic).
Marion Cluggish is listed as Bob Cluggish. (This is UK Basketball: Cats in the NBA Draft)
Also, all players who transferred and subsequently played in the NBA are missing. This includes Bob Brannum, Dan Swartz, Greg Starrick, Chuck Aleksinas, Dwight Anderson, Irving Thomas, LeRon Ellis, Chris Mills and Rodrick Rhodes. Reggie Hanson played for the Boston Celtics in the 98-99 season but was omitted, although that fact was noted in the Then & Now section (This is UK Basketball: Success - Academic and Athletic) on the 1999-2000 media guide.
Media Guide lists Paul Turrell as earning a letter in 1935 (Tradition: Wildcat Lettermen). I don't have a single reference to a Paul Turrell and don't have him playing in a single game. (Perhaps a manager ?)
Media Guide lists Don Adkins as earning a letter in 1963, 64 and 65 (Tradition: Wildcat Lettermen). I don't have a single reference to a Don Adkins and don't have him playing in a single game. (Perhaps a manager ?)
Media Guide lists Gayle Rose as attaining All-NCAA Tournament Regional in 1958 (Tradition: Awards & Honors) but he last played in 1955 (assume typo).
Media Guide lists Marvin Akers twice in the list for All-SEC Tournament (Tradition: UK in the SEC Tournament), which incorrectly provides a total of 60 players earning the distinction instead of the actual 59 players.
Media guide is missing early games in the old Madison Square Garden (Tradition: UK at Neutral Sites) against New York University and Long Island University.
In the Kentucky week-by-week Associated Press All-Time polls, many of the dates and information are incorrect, too numerous to mention. The correct information is listed at this site.
In the (Records: General Records) section, the Media Guide lists the most rebounds by an opposing player as 30 by Jerry Lucas of Ohio State on 3/18/1961. Lucas is actually tied with Kenneth Stanley of Southern California who grabbed 30 rebounds in a game on 12/4/1961.
In the (Records: General Records) section, the Media Guide lists the most 3-point field goals made by an opposing player as 7 by Terry Brown of Kansas on 12/9/1989 and 7 by Chris Jackson of LSU on 2/15/1990. The leader is actually Ronnie Henderson of LSU who made 8 3-point FG on 2/15/1994. The Media Guide is also missing D.A. Layne of Georgia (2/17/1999) and Damon Bacote of Alabama (1/21/1998) who each made 7 3-point FG. This total of 7 has recently been tied by Joe Crispin of Penn State on 11/25/2000.

In the list of career points (Records: Scoring: Total Points), there are discrepancies with Deron Feldhaus - Media Guide 1232, Database 1231; and Rodrick Rhodes - Media Guide 1208, Database 1209; while the list (Records: 1000 point scorers) is correct.

In the (Records: Field Goals: Field Goals Attempted) section, the Media Guide lists Ralph Beard with a total of 1597 FGA and 606 FGM. Since the 45-46 FGA is not given in the 1000 point scorer page or in the statistics from other sources, using these total would mean that Beard went 111 for 111 in 1945-46. Since the FG's agree with his total points scored, this value of 1597 FGA must be incorrect and low.
In the list of Field Goals in a Season list (Records: Field Goals), the Media Guide is missing Bill Spivey with 255 in 1949-50 OR more likely, they mislabeled his Field Goals 255 instead of the true value of 225. The 225 provides the correct total points and fits the reported field goal percentage in the 1000-Point Scorers list. (Records: 1000-Point Scorers). Regardless, the value is missing in the Field Goals in a Season list.
In the career three point field goals list (Records: Three-Point Field Goals), the Media Guide is missing Rodrick Rhodes with 297.
In the career Free Throw Attempts list (Records: Free Throws), the Media Guide has Alex Groza with 548, when he actually had 605. Johnny Cox was missed with 441.
Media Guide omits Don Mills' 24 rebounds against Southern Cal on 12/5/59 (Records: Rebounding).
In the career assists list, (Records: Assists), the Media Guide left off James Blackmon with 271 and Mike Flynn with 260. Put Jim Master on the list with 264 but database calculated 254. These errors were brushed over in the 1999-2000 guide when the cut-off was raised to Larry Conley's 293.
In the season steals list, (Records: Steals), the Media Guide left off Kyle Macy (79-80) with 58 steals.
In the game steals list, (Records: Steals), the Media Guide left off Winston Bennett and Jared Prickett with 7, along with Mashburn, Beal, Antoine Walker, Epps and Minniefield with 6. Also had wrong date for Nov 29 game versus Austin Peay (1986 instead of 1987).
In the season blocks list, (Records: Blocks), the media guide missed Kenny Walker in 85-86 with 43. Kenny Walker in 84-85 with 37 and LeRon Ellis in 88-89 with 35 were also missed, however this was covered up in the 1999-2000 Media Guide when the cut-off was increased to 40. (This despite the fact that they're listed in the "Year-by-Year Blocks Leaders" box right next to the list.)
In the All-time attendance list, the 12/1/90 game versus Notre Dame is labelled 12/8/91. The 12/7/91 game versus Indiana is labelled 12/7/92.
