Joseph Dalton Williams, 75, of 230 Fairway Drive, husband of Mrs. Kathryn Updike Williams, died 4:40 a.m. today in the King's Daughters' Memorial Hospital following a long illness.
He was born Sept. 8, 1902. to the late Robert and Bertha Rutherford Williams, a native of Franklin County, and was a retired general sales manager for Chevrolet Dealerships in North Carolina.
Survivors, in addition to his wife, include two daughters, Mrs. Pat Buchanan Frankfort, and Mrs. Lynwood (JoAnn) Hurst, Spartanburg, S.C., and seven grandchildren.
The body will be cremated and a graveside service will be conducted later.
Rogers Funeral Home is in charge.
