Cats Defeat Marshall in Easy GameEvery Man in State Lineup Takes Part in Adding Points
LEXINGTON, KY., Dec. 15 - Every man in the lineup for the University of Kentucky Wildcats scored last night when the Big Blue turned in their third consecutive winner of the current year, Marshall College, Huntington, was the victim, 48 to 26.
U.K. used 10 men and had no difficulty in downing the West Virginians. At half time, the score was 28 to 15 (?) in favor of the Wildcats.
DeMoisey, Walton, led the scorers with 13 points. Lawrence, Corinth, counted 10, while Anderson, Covington, playing a guard, made one.
Last year the two teams clashed at Ashland, where the Boyd County Alumni Club could witness the game. The Marshall five was defeated and this victory makes the second consecutive defeat for the Huntington team at the hands of the Lexington school.
First of Two Foes
Marshall is the first of two Buckeye Conference foes to face the Cats this week. The University of Cincinnati visits Lexington Saturday night.
