Y.M.C.A. AGAIN VICTOR OVER STATE COLLEGE
Association Team wins Basket Ball Game by a Score of 41 to 22
State College went down in defeat last night for the second time this season before the champion basket ball team of the local Y.M.C.A., the score being 41 to 22. The game was hotly contested from start to finish but the final result was never in doubt for the Association team played as one man and with a rush that completely carried the college boys off their feet.
Despite the uncertainty of the weather a large and enthusiastic crowd witnessed the contest and both teams were cheered continuously by their ardent supporters. Thirteen fouls were called on the Y.M.C.A. team and State succeeded in pitching only four of them. Howard Guyn for the Y.M.C.A. team pitched three out of the six fouls called on the college boys.
For the Y.M.C.A. team Howard Guyn and Sheets played most aggressive game while Barbee and Captain Wilson played a star game for State College.
