University Five Trims Wesleyan, While Transy Wins Hot Game from Tigers
Kentucky Wesleyan College did not score a field goal until the last two minutes of play in its contet with the University of Kentucky in the Wildcat gym last night. "Lucky" shots hit the spot that counts twice in those last few seconds, bringing the total of Wesleyan tallies to 13, with the Wildcats credited on the scorebook for 43.
The girl's team of the University was handed the cup of defeat by the feminine representation from the Winchester institution in the preliminary bout, 18 to 14.
Miss Margaret Harbison, of Lexington, must be given the honors in the girl's contest. She pluckily remained in the lineup after having received a heavy jolt on the eye, causing it to swell up almost beyond recognition.
