Odds and Ends from the Morehead Game:
Kentucky's 108-65 win over Morehead State was Pitino's second largest victory margin at UK. The 82-36 blowout of SW Texas State last year was his biggest.
Todd Svoboda had a UK career high 6 points in 10 minutes of playing time, and looked pretty good doing it (he had 4 rebounds as well).
At one point in the first half, MSU coach Dick Fick laid down on the floor (pretending to have fainted) in protest of a foul call [JNB note - I remember when watching the game that I thought the call was excellent. Fick really should have saved this showmanship ploy for a more controversial foul, IMHO.]
Roderick Rhodes scored only 3 points, but he had a career high 13 assists. Senior guard Junior Braddy was suspended for this game, but returned against Miami of Ohio. He broke some minor team rule, Pitino said.
UK was actually outgunned from 3 point range by the Eagles. MSU shot 9-25 while UK connected on only 7-30.
