Official Needed!
Jim Beiersdorfer, Cincinnati sports official, will be unable to officiate the Cincinnati-Kentucky game because of a contract with the National Football League, he said. Beiersdorfer is slated to umpire the Green Bay-Philadelphia grid game at Philadelphia Sunday, and there is no plane or train leaving Cincinnati late Saturday night that would get him to Philadelphia in time for Sunday's game, he pointed out. Gibby Venn is one of the cage officials. No replacement has been named for Beiersdorfer.
