MARSHALL, FLOYD E. (BIGGIE) - age 85, of Knoxville, passed away Tuesday, November 17, 1998.
He was a graduate and former basketball and tennis player for the University of Tennessee. Retired deputy sheriff. Member of Lake Forest Presbyterian Church, Veteran of World War II.
Survivors: wife of 61 years, Sarah Marshall; daughter, Lynn Pemberton and husband, Gene; son, Sam Marshall and wife, Martha; daughter, Chris Sanders and husband Ray, Marietta, Ga.; grandchildren, Bob, John, David Pemberton, Lisa Darnall, Leslie and Scott Marshall, Marshall and Annie Sanders; great-grandchildren, Christopher, Sydney, Michael, Andrew, Kelli, Caleb and Sarah Pemberton, Leah Darnall; sisters, Ora Van Bible, Oak Ridge, Edna Smith, Greenville, Betty Eades, California; several nieces and nephews.
Funeral 8 p.m. Thursday, Berry Chapel, rev. Stewart White officiating. Interment 11 a.m. Friday, Woodlawn Cemetery.
In lieu of flowers, memorials may be made to Bachmans Home, c/o Lake Forest Presbyterian Church. Family will receive friends 6-8 p.m. Thursday at Berry Funeral Home, Chapman Highway.
