STATE LOSES 34-16
The State University basketball team was defeated Friday night at Georgetown by the team of Georgetown College by a score of 34 to 16. The State team included Barbee, Rhodes and Post, the three stars of the last year. The victory gives Georgetown the call for second place in the State championship race. The best playing of the game was done by Kenney for the Georgetown team. He threw seven field goals. The game was fast and steady throughout.

GEORGETOWN, Ky., Feb. 4 - Georgetown College defeated the basket ball team from State University here tonight by a score of 34 to 16, before the largest crowd that ever saw a game in the Georgetown gymnasium. The State University team included Barbee, Rhodes and Post, the three stars of last year. The victory gives Georgetown the call for second place in the state championship race. State - Fox, center; Tonner and Barbee, forwards; Post and Rhodes guards.
