Takes Basket Ball Game from Georgetown College Club 48 to 19
The State University basket ball team outclassed the team representing Georgetown College in a one-sided game Monday afternoon at Georgetown, the score being 48 to 19. This places the State team in direct line for the title of State champions, the only other eligible being Central University. While Post of the Blue and White team was the most conspicuous player for that club all of the players played excellent ball and the team deserved to win.

Local Boys Win by Score More Than Double That of Opponents
By defeating the Georgetown College basket ball team last night at Georgetown by a score of 48 to 19 the fast State University five placed themselves in a position of being the contenders for the champions of the State, the only other team which now has a chance to land the coveted honor being Central University.
The Blue and White team journeyed to the capital of Scott County last night and by fast, consistent playing, together with some sensational work on the part of Post, succeeded in downing the Gold and Black five by a score more than double that of their opponents.
The whole team did splendid work.
