STATE WON
Centre College lost again Friday in the basket ball contest with State College. The soldier boys put the sphere in the pocket for seventeen points to Centre's fifteen. It was a disappointed crowd for they fully expected the home boys to win. A large number of enthusiasts were out to witness the play.

DEFEATS CENTRAL UNIVERSITY AT BASKETBALL
In one of the most hotly contest basket ball games of the season Central University went down in defeat at the hands of the plucky team from State College by the score of 17 to 15.
The game was witnessed by a large number of students and friends of both colleges. Each side contested fiercely for each point. The best work done by the Cadets was by Wilson, who gained eight of the seventeen points. Next to him in honors stood Barbee, who showed up in good form. For Central University Harper played the star game.
