STATE COLLEGE BEATEN
The fast Georgetown College basket ball team defeated the State College team last night at Georgetown by the score of 26 to 11. The score at the end of the first half was 15 to 5 in favor of Georgetown. A return game will be played here in a few weeks.

Georgetown College basket ball team defeated the State College team at the College gymnasium Thursday night in a one-sided game by the score of 26 to 11. It was a fast game and replete with fouls. The first half resulted in Georgetown's favor, the score being 15 to 5. In the last half Georgetown increased its score to 26, while State added 6.
A number of students from State College, boys and girls, came down to witness the game.
The College basket ball team will play Kentucky University Feb. 12th, State College Feb. 13th and Cincinnati University Feb. 19.
A match game will be played Feb. 20th from 4 to 5 o'clock p.m. between the girls of Georgetown College and State University. Only ladies admitted. Admission 15 cents.

Georgetown Defeated K.S.C.
Georgetown tonight vanquished the State College team by a score of 26 to 11, in a game which was distinguished by the brilliancy of Georgetown's playing and weakness of the visitors in comparison. The team work of Georgetown has been wonderfully developed.
Fouls were numerous. The goal throwing of Parrigin was fine. Fifteen State College girls, and twenty young men came down from Lexington to witness the game.
