Sprigg C. Ebbert, 71; Clearwater Kiwanian
Sprigg Case Ebbert, 71, 159 Bayside Drive, Clearwater, died Friday (Nov. 6, 1959) in a Tampa hospital.
Mr. Ebbert moved to Clearwater in 1956, and had wintered there since 1900. He was a retired partner of he Ebbert & Kirkman Co. Inc., Birmingham, Ala. an elder of Peace Memorial Presbyterian Church, a member of Clearwater Kiwanis Club, Beta Theta Pi fraternity, and was the first president of the Engineers Club, Birmingham. He was a graduate of the University of Kentucky and was associated with General Electric before forming his own company in 1925.
Survivors are his wife, a son, Edward S., Superior, Wis.; 3 grandchildren; and a sister, Mrs. Julian Burruss, Blacksburg, Va.
