Kentucky Beats Aggies in extra Period Game at Starkville with Game Here Tonight Ending Series
STARKVILLE, Feb. 1 - Kentucky's Wildcats and the Mississippi Aggies played a tough basketball game here tonight with the visitors taking the game in an extra playing period after the score stood 23-23 at the end of the regular game. Milward, lanky Wildcat center, sank a crip shot from under the basket after admirable teamwork and passing had advanced the ball to scoring territory.Holliday tied the score for A. and M. with but a minute to play, sinking a beautiful field basket.
The game was fast and snappily handled by Lou Ervin of Birmingham who accompanies the teams to Jackson Saturday to call the last game of the series in the Capital City auditorium.
