WILDCATS WIN
OVER GEORGETOWN TIGERS 22 TO 18 IN HOT BASKET BALL CONTEST
The Georgetown Tigers were trimmed by the University of Kentucky Wildcats in the university gym last night by a score of 22 to 18, in the most hotly contested match played here so far this season.
Fur from both contingents flew in volume. The team work of the visiting crew was of such nature that the Wildcats were almost put out of the limelight in this line, but the goal throwing and steadiness of the University men resulted in victory.
Bastin, star heavyweight guard of Daddy Boles' delegation, went out of the game with a strained ankle in the first few minutes of play, but was ably replaced by Zerfoss during the rest of the contest. Shanklin, usually at guard, appeared in a forward position last night and gave the witnesses a few thrills with long shots and fast floor work. Thomas led the Wildcats in field goal shooting, placing four to his credit and running in two out of four fouls. Campbell, was a close second in field goal throwing, placing three.
Jennings, of Georgetown, did some highly commendable work at center and counted three field goals. Deane, also of Georgetown, threw one field goal and four out of five fouls.

Change in Lineup of Boles' Basketeers Announced on Eve of Melee With Tigers
The Lineup:
Changes are announced in the Wildcat line-up on the eve of the first important "at home" game of the year for Daddy Boles' Wildcats. Shanklin will be shifted to a forward to take George Zerfoss' place, allowing Zerfoss to go to forward and fill up a gap left by Bastin, who will be out of the game. McKinney will take the place Glickman has occupied on the other guard.
Daddy Boles said last night that the team was in good shape and that if the Wildcats were beaten they would have no alibis to make, even if some changes had been necessary. The team is looking for a hard tustle tonight at o'clock in the university gymnasium with Coach Hinton's Georgetown collection.
It is announced that Halas, of the University of Illinois, will referee. This is the first big game to be played here this year by the Wildcats. Georgetown recently set down Berea by an overwhelming score, but is still claiming to be somewhat 'ailin'" because of losing several men to the army.
Shifting of Zerfoss to guard and Shanklin to forward will not hurt the team, it is believed, as Zerfoss broke into basketball as a guard and played there until this season. Shanklin's goal shooting is as good as Zerfoss' and he is also a good floor man.
