Miami vs. Kentucky State College
On February seventeenth Miami met and defeated the Kentucky State team in Miami gymnasium by a score of 29 to 19.In the first half Miami was a strong, easy winner by a score of 19 to 9. The visiting team did good team work but their goal throwing was very poor, while the goal throwing of Schweickart for Miami was the principal feature of the game.
In the second half Kentucky State put in a new man and during the first part they got busy and ran the score up pretty close, but they couldn't maintain the pace, and 10 apiece was the score for the second half.
