DEFEATED STATE COLLEGE IN BASKET BALL GAME BY SCORE OF 14 TO 12.
The game of basket ball that was played last night between State College and K.U. resulted in a victory for K.U., the score standing 14 to 12.
It was a clean game. State was handicapped by her unfamiliarity with the goals of the K.U. gymnasium. The teams were both in good condition and evenly matched. Six goals were thrown for State College, three by Wortele, two by Guyn, one by Coons. Nine goals were thrown for K.U. by Wilkins, one; Barger, two; Guyn, five; Hayden one.
