STATE COLLEGE WON BASKETBALL
The first of a series of three games of basket ball between the State College and the Y.M.C.A. teams was played last night in the State College gymnasium. The game was a most exciting one and well contested and the result was a doubt until the game had finally ended. The State College won by a score of 11 to 10.

Close Game With Y.M.C.A. in Basket Ball Game
The Y.M.C.A. and the State College basket ball teams met for the first time in the gymnasium of the college last night. The game was the first of a series of three which will be played by the two teams.
The game was an exceedingly close and exciting one from the first and it was uncertain as to who would be the winner until the last minute had been played. It resulted in a score of 11 to 10 in favor of State College.
The score indicates the closeness of the game. At the beginning of the last half, S.C. substituted four new men, while the Y.M.C.A. substituted only one.

The basketball teams of the Y.M.C.A. and State College will play a match game in the State College gymnasium Wednesday evening, beginning at 8 o'clock. Both teams are in fine condition and a brilliant contest is expected.
