DEFEATS STATE COLLEGE BASKET BALL BY SCORE OF 42 TO 2
Kentucky University defeated State College in a basket ball game in the State College gymnasium yesterday afternoon. The game was a one-sided affair and resulted in a victory for K.U. by a score of 42 to 2. The attendance was large. A squabble delayed the game for quite a time near the close of the first half, when the score was 10 to 2 in favor of K.U.

42 TO 2 THE SCORE IN BASKET BALL MATCH GAME
The basket ball game between Kentucky University and State College played yesterday afternoon in the gymnasium of the latter institution resulted in an overwhelming victory for Kentucky University. The score was 42 to 2.
A good crowd of students was in attendance, and much enthusiasm was displayed. At the close of the first half the score stood 14 to 0 in favor of Kentucky University. Near the close of the half a disagreement arose between the players of the two teams and the game was delayed for a considerable time. In the last half the State College team seemed to let down and scored followed score in rapid succession for the opposing team. The winning team was composed of much the larger men, which fact contributed greatly to their success.

K.U.-S.C. Match Postponed. Y.M.C.A.-S.C. Game Wednesday
In spite of the inclemency of the weather last night a fair crowd assembled at the State College gymnasium to witness the basketball contest between State College and Kentucky University. The game, however, was postponed until 4 o'clock Friday afternoon, when it is hoped a large crowd can attend.
A game of base ball was arraigned between K.U. and State College to be played April 4. The contract was signed last night after about four hours negotiations.

BASKET BALL
The basket ball game which was to have been played some days ago between the teams of Kentucky University and State College, but which was postponed on account of inclement weather, will be played this afternoon in the gymnasium of State College.
This is the first of a series of three games to be played by the two teams, and much interest has been manifested. Both teams are in good shape and an interesting and stubbornly contested exhibition is expected.
