DAYTONA BEACH, Fla. (AP) - Thomas Andrew Gill, 60, former football coach at the University of North Dakota and the University of Kentucky, died at his home Saturday night.
A graduate of Indiana University, he came here eight months ago from Michigan City, Ind.
Surviving are his wife, Mary, of Dayton Beach; two sons, Dr. Thomas A. Gill of Muncie, Ind., and Lt. Cmdr. Paul Wright Gill, now stationed at Guam, and a brother, Cletus Gill, Indianapolis.
T.A. (Andy) Gill, who died Saturday night was football coach at the University of Kentucky for two years, in 1918-19. He succeeded S.A. (Daddy) Boles in the former year and in turn was succeeded in 1920 by H.J. Juneau, a graduate of the University of Wisconsin who tutored the Wildcats for three years.
