William Brown Succumbs at 75
William Earl "Scout" Brown, lifetime youth worker and recreational supervisor in the Alexandria area, died at 12:15 p.m. Friday in an Alexandria hospital.
Brown, 75, was a former scout executive of the Attakapas Boy Scout Council.
He is survived by his wife, Mrs. Hazel Brown of Alexandria, and one step-son, Dr. Lloyd M. Higgins of New Orleans.
Funeral services will be held at 3 p.m. Sunday from the chapel of Hixson Bros. Funeral Home, followed by interment in Greenwood Memorial Park.
