Obituary - SPLANE, Florida Times Union (October 25, 1989)
Born in Paintsville, Ky., he had lived in Middleburg for the past 11 years. He was a member of the Middleburg United Methodist Church, an Army Air Corps Veteran, the Northeast District Dental Society, lifetime member of American Dental, Florida Dental and Clay County Dental Associations, past member of Middleburg Rotary and Charter Member of the Ravins Country Club.
He is survived by his wife, Joanie Splane, 3 sons, T. Douglas (Nancy), Paul (Nancy) and Cary (Pamela) Splane; 1 daughter, Rebecca (Barry) Heilman; 1 sister, Julia Chandler; 10 grandchildren, Jessica, Trevor, Hadley, Matthew, Emily, Katherine and Alania Splane, Eric, Rachael and Craig Heilman.
Memorial Services will be held at 3 p.m. Thursday in the First Baptist Church of Middleburg, with Rev. Larry Loveday and Rev. Jack Whitley officiating.
Those who prefer, may make donations to Methodist Hospice or Middleburg United Methodist Church Building Fund.
