Obituary - Thomas Beatty, Escondido (CA) Times-Advocate (March 2, 1977)
He was born April 4, 1891, in Kentucky and was a payroll clerk for MACCO before his retirement. He served in the U.S. Army during World War I and was a member of the American Legion Post 43 of Hollywood. He had lived in Vista for five years.
Surviving are his wife, Dela K.; one son, Thomas E. Beatty Jr. or Burbank; one grandchild; and one sister.
A graveside service will be held at 10 a.m. March 3 at the San Marcos Cemetery. Dr. J. Paul Featherstone, pastor of the First Church of Religious Science of Vista, will officiate. The Allen Brothers Mortuary is in charge of arrangements.
