Obituary - WILLIAM K. BARLOW, Kentucky Post (August 20, 1990)

William K. Barlow, 68, of Crescent Springs, formerly of North Vernon, Ind., died at 1:30 a.m. Sunday at St. Elizabeth Medical Center South. He was the retired vice president of marketing research for A.C. Nielsen Co., Northbrook, Ill., and was an Army veteran of World War II. He also formerly played basketball at the University of Kentucky for Adolph Rupp in the early 1940s.

Survivors include his wife, Jane Carothers Barlow; his mother, Ruby Barlow of North Vernon; sisters, Mary Jo Gray of North Vernon, and Juanita Tokunitue of Pompano Beach. Services will be at 11 a.m. Wednesday at Diekhoff-Vance Funeral Home, North Vernon. Visitation will be there from 4 to 7 p.m. Tuesday. A memorial service also will be held at 1 p.m. Saturday at the Erlanger Baptist Church. Burial will be in Vernon Cemetery, Vernon, Ind. Linnemann Funeral Home, Erlanger, is in charge of local arrangements. Memorials are suggested to the St. Elizabeth Hospice Program, 401 E. 20th St., Covington, 41014.
