FILIBERTI, Ernest J., Jr. - Age 78, passed away peacefully in San Francisco, CA. November 13, 2002. Loving husband of Evelyn for 55 years; devoted father of Sharon Holmberg (Jim) and Carol Machi (Frank); beloved grandfather of Chrissy and Cathy Holmberg.
Life long resident of San Francisco. Graduated from Grattan Grammar School and Polytechnic High School. Attended St. Mary's College and the University of Southern California. Served in the U.S. Coast Guard during World War II. Retired from U. S. Federal Service after 43 years. Refereed Collegiate Basketball in the Pacific Coast and West Coast Conferences for 30 years.
Friends and family may visit Sunday from 4 -9 PM and are invited to attend a Vigil Service 7PM at DUGGAN'S SERRA MORTUARY 500, Westlake Ave. Daly City CA. 94014. A Funeral Mass will be said on Monday at 10AM at St. Ignatius Church, 650 Parker Ave. SF 94118 followed by committal at Holy Cross Cemetery.
