Former Businessman Robert B. Stith Dies
Robert Bruce Stith, a former businessman and county employee, died yesterday morning at his home at 320 Hillsboro Avenue.
Stith, 70, was a former partner in Kentucky Sporting Goods and had served as deputy clerk in the Property Valuation Administrator's Office.
He was former president of Western Little League and the Meadowthorpe Optimist Club.
Survivors include his wife, Dorothy Deehen Stith; two sons, Robert Bruce Stith III and Paul Darryl Stith, both of Lexington; two sisters, Beverly Bitter and Pauline Hemmingway, both of Louisville; and three grandchildren.
Services will be at 10:30 a.m. Saturday at St. Paul Catholic Church. Visitation is from 3 to 5 and 7 to 9 p.m. today at W.R. Milward Mortuary - Broadway. Recitation of the Rosary at 7 p.m. today.
