Contest Leaves Intercollegiate Basket Ball Honors Still in Doubt
By a score of 18 to 13 the State College basket ball team defeated the team from Georgetown College in a fierce contest at the former's gymnasium yesterday afternoon. At the end of the first half the score stood 8 to 8. Early in the second half the Cadet lads took the lead and held their opponents down during the remainder of the contest.
The feature of the first half was the playing of Maury Wilson, who threw three field goals and succeeded in caging two balls out of three foul throws. During the second half Shelby Post placed four field goals to his credit. Captain Stevens did good work for the visitors in throwing field goals.
The game played yesterday afternoon was the second of three contests scheduled between the two teams. The visitors defeated the Cadet lads at Georgetown a few days ago. The contest leaves the Intercollegiate championship honors in doubt.

DEFEATS STRONG GEORGETOWN BASKET BALL SQUAD 18 TO 13 ON HOME FLOOR
The State College basket ball team defeated the strong basket ball team from Georgetown College by a score of 18 to 13 on the State College gymnasium floor Tuesday afternoon. The game as hotly contested throughout. At the end of the first half the score was 8 to 8, but by hard playing SC succeeded in taking the lead in the second half, and held it to the end of the game.
Maury Wilson's playing in the first half was the feature of the game. In the second half Shelby Post threw four field goals. Captain Stevens of the Georgetown team did the best playing for his team.
The game was the second of a series of three, and leaves the Inter-Collegiate championship of the State in doubt. Each team has won a game. The other game will be played soon and will settle the championship for this season.
