Obituary - L.T. (Bill) Underwood, Seattle Post-Intelligencer (July 16, 1997)
Age 94, of Bellevue, died July 13 1997. Survived by his beloved wife, Hazel; children, Terry, Richard and Kande; grandchildren, Shauna and Mark.
He was a former University of Kentucky athlete and All-American High School Basketball Player in 1922. He coached at Transylvania College in Lexington during the 30's and and at Gonzaga University 1950-51.
He retired in 1969 from the American Red Cross after overseas field assignments and chapter manager of Spokane County. He was a member of the Masonic Lodge.
A family memorial will be held at Terrace Heights Memorial Park in Yakima. Green's Bellevue Funeral Home is handling arrangements.
