Obituary - N.L. Kimbrough Dies at Los Angeles, Calif., Lexington Leader (March 4, 1938)
He was a son of the late Henry Clay and Nannie L. Kimbrough and lived in Lexington until 12 years ago, when he moved to California. He was a student at Lexington High School and the University of Kentucky and was active in athletics at both institutions. He was a member of the Pi Kappa Alpha social fraternity at the University. During the World War he served in the Marine Corps. In Los Angeles he was affiliated with the Hollywood Christian Church.
He is survived by three brothers, Otho and Marion Kimbrough of Lexington and Henry Kimbrough of Los Angeles; two nephews, Marion Kimbrough Jr. of Lexington and Henry Kimbrough Jr. of Los Angeles, and a niece, Nancy Kimbrough, of Lexington.
