Mr. Allmond retired from the ACC conference after 20 of service as on official. Mr. Allmond was a graduate of the senior class of 1937 from Newport News High School. Mr. Allmond was also a Charter Member of the Basket Ball Officiating Crew in 1953.
Mr. Allmond was preceded in death by his parents, Otis and Virgie Allmond; two sisters and a brother. The Committal service will be private.
