School Official Dies of Seizure
BATON ROUGE, Sept. 3 (AP) - Osborne M. Helveston, 48, director of personnel for East Baton Rouge Parish school system, died of a heart attack Saturday night.
Helveston was a former football coach and principal at Baton Rouge high school. He was a native of Ocean Springs, Miss. He attended public schools in Biloxi, Miss.
While at Louisiana State University, he played varsity football and baseball. His wife died several years ago. They were the parents of a son and daughter.
