Ex-Director of Health At Y.M.H.A. Is Dead
Max C. "Doc" Isaac, former health director at the Young Men's Hebrew Association and member of the Manual High School athletic department staff, died at 4 p.m. yesterday at Jewish Hospital.
He was 83 and lived at 2057 Sherwood.
Isaac was a 1912 graduate of the University of Cincinnati Medical School. He was with the Y.M.H.A. from 1912 to 1925 and at Manual for the next 12 years.
He also was a former employee of Wood-Mosaic Corporation. He had been retired in recent years.
Funeral Tomorrow
Isaac was a member of Brith Sholom Temple and George Washington Masonic Lodge.
Surviving are his wife, the former Cora L. Lorch, and three sisters, Mrs. Phil Fleisher, Canton, Ohio; Mrs. Belle Paas, Palm Beach, and Mrs. May Dornberg, Cincinnai.
A funeral will be at Herman Meyer & Son Funeral home, 1338 Ellison at 2:30 p.m. tomorrow. The body will be cremated.
