Obituary - Louisville Courier-Journal (March 14, 1967)
Forrest Moss, 83, of 133 S. 44th, died at 3:58 a.m. Monday at Kentucky Baptist Hospital. He retired as a mechanical engineer at the Logan Co. in 1956.
He taught drafting for several years at duPont Manual High School before becoming an assistant director of works for the City of Louisville in 1920. Moss was an Army veteran of both world wars. He was a member of Jefferson Post 15 American Legion and a life member of the Shawnee Presbyterian Church.
Survivors include a daughter, Mrs. Elizabeth McIntosh, of Jeffersonville, Ind., and three grandsons.
The funeral will be at 11 a.m. Wednesday at Schoppenhorst Brothers Funeral Home, 1832 W. Market. Burial will be in the Cave Hill Cemetery.
