Obituary - Birmingham (AL) Post-Herald (January 29, 1997)
CANZONERI, ALBERT (FAGAN), age 78, died Tuesday, January 28, 1997.
He was a graduate of Auburn University, lettered in Football and Basketball, and a member of the Auburn Letterman Club. He was a retired Football and Basketball High School referee and a retired SEC Basketball Official.
He is also a retired full Colonel with the U.S. Army Reserve.
He was a coach at Ensley High School, a Principal in the Birmingham City Schools, and retired as Assistant Athletic Director of Birmingham City Schools.
Funeral service at Brown Service Bessemer will be held Thursday, January 30, 1997 at 10:00 A.M. Burial in Cedar Hill.
Survivors: wife, Lucille Schilleci Canzoneri of Hoover; son, Al Canzoneri of Hoover; daughters, Faye & Bill Street of Hoover, Brendan & Russell Streit of Vestavia; grandchildren, Melanie Streit, Alison Streit, Bucky Streit, Mindy Street, Angela, Albert and Anna Marie Canzoneri; three sisters, Lenora Schilleci of Bessemer, Elizabeth Piazza of California, and Margaret Borghese of California.
