Edward Maracich, age 92, of Tinley Park, formerly of Calumet Park. Beloved husband of Dolores (nee Davidson) for 67 wonderful years; devoted father of Dan (Amanda), Teri (Jack Radosevich), David (Diana), Diana, Edward (Denise), Michael and Tom (Jennifer); cherished grandfather of 16 grandchildren and 8 great-grandchildren; fond brother of the late Nick (Helen) and the late Zinka; good friend of Jack Schuberth, Jimmy Kuhn, Ben Reilly and Pat Albergo.
Ed graduated from Loyola University in 1953, he was inducted into the Chicagoland Sports Hall of Fame, Big 10 Basketball Official for 24 years, Big 10 Football Official for 15 years, longtime member of Glen Eagles Country Club MenŐs Club and Retired Sheriff of the Cook County Sheriff Department.
Ed was a devoted Catholic and Married to the love of his life Dolores for 67 years. Visitation Wednesday, February 10 at Lawn Funeral Home 7732 W. 159th St. Orland Park from 3-8 P.M. Family and friends will meet on Thursday February 11 at St. Julie Billiart Church 7399 W. 159th St. Tinley Park for 10:00 A.M. Funeral Mass.
