Cliff E. Ogden
Cliff E. Ogden, 68, of 1246 Lowell, Kansas City, Kansas, died Monday at the Veteran's Hospital in Leavenworth.
He was born in Wichita and had lived in Kansas City, Kansas, since about 1940. He was an Army veteran of World War II.
Mr. Ogden was a Big Eight official for basketball and football from about 1947 to 1955 and officiated at four Orange Bowl games in the '50s.
He was also an official in the Kansas City, Kansas, school system in the '40s. He was employed by the old F.S. Edwards Tobacco Company.
He leaves his wife, Mrs. Lillian Ogden, 6300 Leavenworth Road, Kansas City, Kansas; a brother, Jake Ogden of Hawaii, and a siter, Mrs. Fredda Townley, Wichita.
Graveside services will be at 11 a.m. Friday at the National Cemetery at Fort Leavenworth. Friends may call from 9 to 10 a.m. Friday at the Gibson-Butler Chapel.
