BASKET BALL
In the basket ball contest last night between the local Y.M.C.A. team and the Kentucky State College team, at Association building, the Y.M.C.A. team was victorious by a score of 30 to 9. The game was much more interesting than the score would indicate, as the teams were very evenly matched and it was only through the ability of the local boys to hit the basket that the game was won by such a large score. The team work of the Kentucky boys was fully up to that of the Y.M.C.A. team but for some reason they could not hit the basket. The goal throwing of Zoeller and Borgerding was especially fine while the guarding done by Harding and Falk was high class.Game Writeup - New Albany Daily Ledger
