John N. Levine
FARMINGTON, Me, Jan. 6 - John N. LeVine, 73, former manager of Deer Cove Inn, Swampscott, Mass., and once football great at Andover and Yale, died today at his Summer home here.
Funeral services will be Tuesday at Mt. Auburn Cemetery, Watertown, Mass.
He was graduated from Colby College and attended Yale Law School, following which he was a line coach at Holy Cross and later head football coach at Davidson and Transylvania. He retired 15 years ago from hotel management.
He was a member of the "Y" Club and the Yale Club of Long Island, N.Y.
Surviving are a wife, the former Florence Flanders of Malden, Mass.; a daughter, Mrs. Lucille F. Fairbanks Shute, and a son, John Carver.
