Obituary - ROBERT M. TICE, Kentucky Alumnus
Robert M. Tice, 44, died June 6 in Ft. Lauderdale, Fla. A native of Lexington, he attended Henry Clay High School and was graduated from the University of Kentucky in 1938. In 1939-40 he was a teacher and basketball coach at Athens High School. Later he worked with the Lexington Recreation Department for about ten years, part of that time as assistant supervisor. At the time of his death he was supervisor of the Ft. Lauderdale Recreation Department. Among his survivors are his mother, Mrs. Mary Bell Tice of Lexington; his wife, Mrs. Dorothy Johnson Tice; and three daughters.
