Obituary - A.T. Rice Jr., Frankfort (KY) State Journal (April 23, 1962)
A native of Paris, he had lived in Frankfort since 1927. He was a coach and teacher at Frankfort High School between 1927 and 1942. For the past 15 years he was a traffic department employee of Schenley Distillers Inc. here. He was a member of the Episcopal Church of the Ascension.
Surviving are his wife, Mrs. Rachel Roberts Rice; two daughters, Mrs. Anne Lindsey Quire Jr., Lexington and Miss Ann Kennedy Rice, New Orleans, La.; a brother, Edwin K. Rice, Paris and a granddaughter, Miss Lindsey of Lexington.
Funeral services will be conducted at 2 p.m. Tuesday at the Episcopal Church of the Ascension by Rector H. Ward Jackson.
Burial will follow in the family lot in the Frankfort Cemetery.
Dr. Thomas P. Leonard, Dr. Shirley Howell, Thomas Games, Henry Bennett, Gilbert Blakeman, Edward Bennett and Richard Stevens will serve as casket bearers.
Mr. Rice's body is at Rogers.
