Local Electrician Dies in His Garden
James P. [sic] Campbell, 61, well-known electrician of this city, died suddenly of a heart attack yesterday evening while working in his garden at Evanadale. His home was at 663 Spruce Street.
Mr. Campbell was employed at the University, where he had worked for years. He was a member of the Morgantown "13 Club" and of the Methodist Church. He was a 32nd degree Mason. His parents were the late Peter and Marie Coghill Campbell of Butler, Ky.
Surviving are the widow, Mrs. Viola Hall Campbell; a daughter, Mrs. Helen Viets of Weirton; two brothers, Dave and James Campbell of Butler; three sisters, Katherine Campbell and Mrs. Finnell Seevers of Butler, and Ann Campbell of Covington, Ky.; one grandchild. Two brothers and a sister are dead.
