Obituary - Ralph Boren, Atlanta Constitution (April 3, 1978)
Funeral services for Ralph Boren, 76, of 621 S. Candler St. in Decatur will be at 3 p.m. Monday at Turner's Chapel, burial in Decatur Cemetery. Mr. Boren died Saturday.
A civil engineer, he had worked for the past 11 years with the Shepherd Construction Co. Prior to that, he was employed by the McIntosh Paving Co. He was a member of the First Presbyterian Church of Decatur.
A graduate of the University of Kentucky, Mr. Boren had been a resident of Decatur for the last 33 years.
He is survived b his widow, the former Grace Truman Smith; daughter, Dr. Sue Boren of Martin, Tenn.; son, Tom R. Boren of Decatur; and sister, Mrs. H.W. Julien of Orlando, Fla.
