STATE ADDS VICTORY IN THE SCOTT CAPITAL
GEORGETOWN, Ky. -- Before the largest crowd to witness a basketball game in the Georgetown College gymnasium, the State University five defeated the Georgetown College team here tonight in a fast and well played game by the score of 47 to 22.
Harrison, the State University center played the best game for the visitors, while the playing of Marx at guard for State was also noteworthy. Herring and Rhoton did the best playing for the locals.
The entire State University basket ball squad and a large number of students accompanied the team, but none of the substitutes were used during the game.

STATE DEFEATS GEORGETOWN
State University added another scalp to their belt Friday night when the Blue and White five downed the Georgetown College lads on the latter's gymnasium floor by the score of 47 to 22. The crowd which witnessed the contest was one of the largest that ever saw a basket ball game in Georgetown. Harrison and Marx starred for State.

STATE WILL PLAY IN GEORGETOWN TONIGHT
Blue and White Five Will Go to Scott Capital This Afternoon
The State University basketball team will go to Georgetown tonight on the 6 o'clock interurban to play the five of Georgetown College there tonight.
This will be the first of the series of three games to be played between these two teams, the other two to be played on the State Armory floor. Coach Iddings will take along the entire basketball squad and may use as many as eight or ten men during the game in order to give them a try-out in a regular game.
All of the regulars will be in the game at the start, but if he thinks that some of the other men could be used without hurting the State team's chances of winning, several of the others will be put in.
Coach Iddings has not become downcast at the outcome of the Northern trip last week, and he says that although the team did not win any of the three games played, the men played good basketball and that the only cause reason that they did not win was because they were playing against more experienced and seasoned players.
Manager Babb, Coach Iddings and a number of the students will accompany the team on the trip tonight. They will return on the interurban at 11 o'clock.
