C.A. Webb Dies at 69
Charles A. Webb, 69, founder, owner and operator of All American Tours, Inc., and former Transylvania football coach, died Wednesday night at St. Joseph Hospital.
All American Tours, with offices in the Phoenix Hotel, was the first travel agency in Lexington to offer foreign tours. The corporation handled all University of Kentucky athletic department travel arrangements.
Survivors include two sisters, Mrs. William E. Jones, Lexington, and Mrs. Gladys Rabold, Bradenton, Fla.; a brother, W.H. (Ty) Webb, Atlanta, Ga., and a son, Thomas Webb, Cadiz.
In the interest of medical science, Mr. Webb had donated his body to the University of Kentucky Medical School
A memorial service will be held at 10 a.m. today at Central Christian Church.
