Obituary
LIND - At New York City N.Y., on Friday morning, at 4:15 o'clock. CARL H. LIND, late of 2331 Joseph St., husband of Elinor Rooney, father of Thomas and H. Carl Lind, Jr., son of Wilhelmina Michaelis and Otto M. Lind and brother of Otto M. Lind, Jr., died at the age of 41 years.
A star in basketball, baseball and track at Warren Easton High School, Mr. Lind continued his stellar play in these sports at Tulane University, and was signed by the Pelicans just out of college. From New Orleans he went to Cleveland in the American League.
The funeral took place Sunday at 4:30. Services at Zion Lutheran church were followed by interment in Hope Mausoleum.
