ALBERT F. PIEROTTI
BOSTON - A solemn high mass of requiem was sung at 10 a.m. Saturday (Feb. 15, 1964) in St. Anthony's Church, Revere, for Albert F. Pierotti, 67, of 160 Suffolk Ave., a Chelsea teacher and coach and former All-America football player. He died Wednesday.
He was named All-America center while at Washington & Lee University after graduating from Everett High School, where he was football captain.
He later played professional football with the Canton, Ohio, Bulldogs, the Providence Steamrollers, and the Boston Redskins. He was also a pitcher for the Braves and was active in the New England Twilight League.
He had been a teacher and coach in the Chelsea school system since 1927. He previously had taught at Staunton Military Academy in Virginia. He also had wrestled professionally.
He leaves his wife, Mrs. Clara (Luongo) Pierotti; a brother, Alfred, of Dallas, and a sister, Mrs. Alba Danton of Everett.
