Obituary - Otto Schwant Dead at 71, Charleston (WV) Gazette (November 27, 1965)
LOGAN - Funeral service will be held at 10 a.m. today in Logan Presbyterian Church for Otto G. Schwant, president of Federal Savings and Loan Co. here. Burial will be in Lexington Cemetery at Lexington, Ky.
Mr. Schwant, 71, of Logan, died Thursday at home after an apparent heart attack.
He was a consulting engineer, elder in the Presbyterian Church and member of the Rotary Club and Aracoma Masonic Lodge.
Survivors are his widow, Kathryn Cook Schwant; daughters, Mrs. E.R. Cantley and Mrs. Robert R. Pierson, both of Lexington, Ky.; mother Mrs. Bertha Schwant of Covingtn, Ky.,; sisters, Mrs. Carl Rader and Mrs. Naylor Humphrey, both of Covington Ky.
