Obituary - Donald R. Orme, Indianapolis Star (May 25, 2000)
DONALD R. ORME, 80, Indianapolis, died May 23. He was a sales manager for the domestic division of Allison Division of General Motors Corp. for more than 40 years, retiring in 1984.
He was a member of Northminster Presbyterian Church and the Broad Ripple Sertoma Club.
Mr. Orme was a graduate of the University of Kentucky, where he played basketball.
Memorial contributions may be made to the Southport High School Alumni Association Scholarship Fund. Services: 10 a.m. May 26 in Flanner & Buchanan Broad Ripple Mortuary, with calling from 9 a.m. Burial: Washington Park North Cemetery. Survivors: wife Eleanor M. Sands Orme; two daughters; brother Edward L. Orme; sister Genevieve Weaver; a granddaughter.
